I like the picture, and I am sure it used as reference, the pose is identical to a Witchblade picture done by Keu Cha, easy enough to find with Google.

Yep I used a Witchblade reference for the pose, I wasn't 100% sure who the artist was, though. Thanks, and I'll edit that into my description. (-:

Very good overall. The concept, the detail, sweet stuff. The burning effect looks tacked on though, like an afterthought.

Yeah, I liked how it came out overall, but I agree with you on the burning effect. I need to practice more with special effects, but still a good learning experience nonetheless!

Np. If I wanted to figure out how to paint a burning effect, observing a lit cigarette might be a good reference. Try that out (or a picture of one if you're averse to the smoke :P)
